The CEO of the Maasai Mara.

What does it mean to be a boss in the Maasai Mara? Mama Jane can tell you. Raising chicken is your bread and butter. Goats can yield great dividends. A dairy cow can send your kids to school. Mama Jane is affectionately known as the “CEO” of the Maasai Mara, a pillar of WE’s opportunity program, which provides financial literacy training and a leg up to over 70 women’s groups across the region. Through our new partnership with Lipton, we’re expanding our reach to 80,000 Kenyan women tea farmers. Want to see the difference real “opportunity” can make? Watch to find out.
